LRDS Take Out ReDRagon; Chuck Taylor Challenges Zack Sabre Jr.

A high anticipated match between two top teams has to have severe consequences. In this case, Zack Sabre Jr. and Marty Scurll, LRDS, The Leaders of the New School, took the fight to ReDRagon, Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish.

Lots of classic wrestling was battled through in the first few minutes of the round. Bobby Fish got the first takedown. After a square-off, ZSJ attacked O’Reilly at his corner, and Scurll came in and attacked Fish from behind. Action falls to the outside, and the match reassembles back in the ring, as Scurll continues to taunt the fans.

This match was about cooperative teamwork. LRDS showed that they could perform better as a team, at this very moment in time – ZSJ being Triple World Champion, and Scurll being in a top spotlight in professional wrestling.

ReDRagon caught LRDS in many submissions and with many strong strikes. O’Reilly had his fair share of knockdowns and strong stiff strikes with his legs and feet. Fish had his own fury of takedowns, too. At one point, Fish and O’Reilly had both Sabre Jr. and Scurll in submission holds. In an extraordinary exchange, both teams reversed submissions of their own one after another, until O’Reilly was left with an ankle lock.

Scurll would play his part as the Villian, as The Villian, Marty Scurll brought chairs into play, and ultimately, the umbrella, to whack Fish to the floor. ZSJ was able to roll out of O’Reilly’s ankle lock; and in assist to the win Scurll snapped the fingers of  O’Reilly while O’Reilly was trapped in Sabre Jr.’s triangle hold.

After the match, Chuck Taylor saved ReDRagon from a beatdown. Taylor challenged Zack Sabre Jr. for the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla World Title, one last time, putting his championship opportunities on the line.
